Senior Coach selection panel announcement; applications officially opened for the position of Senior Coach for the 2019 season.

It’s with great pleasure to announce that former Port Colts President, and current Coburg Lions President, Skippy Breen will be heading the selection panel seeking a Senior Men’s coach to lead the Colts in Division 1 of the SNFL in 2019.

Joining the panel is former 3 time Colt Premiership player, with 219 games for the Colts, former Club Captain and life member, Stacy Massis.

Alongside Skippy and Stacka will be the recently appointed Port Colts President, Stephen Duvnjak and the Port Colts Juniors President, Darren Williams, who has also played 100 games in the SAFL.

The panel is seeking applicant’s will have high standards, strong leadership skills and an appetite to develop the playing group and establish the highest quality football and coaching program.

Skills considered vital for this role include excellent communication skills, be professional in behaviours, have a mature approach to football and be able to assist in developing the Port Melbourne Colts overall.

Prior experience as a Senior Coach and/or in an elite football program is essential, with a proven record of developing and improving players and implementing structure.
