If so, you can assist our club to obtain a $1,200 Telstra Fund grant. The employee does not need to be connected directly to our club or any child but just willing to perform a good deed to help our community organisation.
It is simple for the Telstra employee. The Telstra employee needs to simply initiate the application by entering their details (name, address, employee number) into an application form by 25 October (about 15 minutes of effort .. but would not be leaving it to the last moment to avoid system and other issues) and some of our club’s details that we will provide. The employee is viewed favourably by Telstra as helping the community.
If you know an eligible Telstra employee please pass on their contact details to us and we will contact them and provide some guidance to get this application lodged.
Note that the employee must be a permanent full or part time employee, not a contractor. Telstra shop employees are usually not eligible as they are, often to their surprise, not directly employed by Telstra but by the Franchise owner.
Grant opens on October 15 and the deadline is October 25.
